Full Moon Cabin — a Cozy Cabin Retreat

Public review: I’ve stayed here in the past and loved it. Unfortunately was unable to stay this time because there was mold in the cabin. Sam did provide a full refund but it sucks we had to cancel our Anniversary trip. Hopefully they are able to clean it up. Private feedback: We already discussed the mold. Ceiling of loft, guest book, and the canvas walls look like mold spots. The light switch is also rusty so it appears water is getting in somehow. Other than that the place looks nice but for the price it’s very small and it would be nice to have some additional amenities like a table and chairs to play a game or eat at. Not much space for a rainy day escape.

Public review: The day we arrived it had been storming pretty badly. The WiFi was out. We called Sam and he let us know that with their satellite it sometimes goes out in storms or cloud coverage. As soon as he got back home, he was able to reset it and by the time we were back that evening, it was back up and running. Such a gem of a spot. We stayed in the Full Moon cabin and it was perfect. Not as much indoor private room as the Moon Dance cabin but the outdoor hammock net and extra private fire pit was amazing! We look forward to coming back in the future. Thanks Sam & Cave Creek Crew! Private feedback: May want to say WiFi could be iffy depending on weather but other than that, it was great. I was kinda hoping the rope chair would’ve been in the cabin (like the pictures) but the hammock net was great with the running creek under it. 😀
