Hemlock Red River Gorge HotTub WiFi

I highly suggest the owners make a point to actually stay at this cabin for a weekend. Romantic is not a word I would use to describe this cabin. The hot tub is literally 3 feet off the main entrance to the area with no privacy screen, you have to sit in uncomfortable waiting room chairs to watch TV so snuggling is out. It requires both hands and a certification in rock climbing to get up the "stairs" which means you can't watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee because there's no way to get one upstairs., There is a luggage rack under the stairs but if you use it, you can't open your luggage or the front door. So your suitcase ends up right in the middle of the living room floor. There is a pretty sculpture of some kind taking up valuable floor space that could be used for luggage or cooler. The pillows are huge, overstuffed and rock hard. Woke up with a stiff neck every morning, the plastic matrass cover.....really? Kayaks were stored in the water and were filled with water and unusable. We drug the paddle boat out of the water and drained it but got all covered in moss and gave up. The construction noise and mariachi music went on all weekend - literally. I've stayed at Vrbo's for over 20 years and I've never given a bad review but this cabin is just not functional as it is. Get rid of the sculpture, add a comfy love seat, add some lattice or privacy screen for the hot tub and maybe a bucket on a rope to get your coffee up the steps in the morning.

Partner and I wanted a much needed respite and escape and bear branch delivered! It was a cozy cabin and SO MUCH TO DO! The game room is awesome, and we spent dusk on the peddleboat. The property is beautiful and secluded, even though it was hot outside we even used the hot tub! Ran into some other guests at neighboring cabins and had great conversation. All the privacy a couple could want with the option to mozey around the sort of community the property offered. We are definitely bringing family and friends back for a big outing. The only thing we will do differently is book one without the loft bed, it was kind of steep, but good for the brave type! ha.

Everything was amazing any needs we had they responded very quickly, clean place, had a ladder to get to the bedroom but it wasn’t a problem for us the bedroom view was amazing the bedroom was bigger than i thought it is a 15 minute drive to get to any stores, restaurants ect it does have a gravel road and very hilly road but it wasn’t a problem overall our stay was amazing!! I loved that the hot tub was private no none of the surrounding Airbnb could even see us it was amazing very private !! The bugs can get a lot but we just got a bug repellent that we lit and it was perfectly fine!

We had a really nice time! The pond and kayaks were an awesome addition! Thanks again for a great stay!
